Three schools’ projects in Old Hutton, Seldside and Grayrigg have received a boost thanks to South Lakes District Councillor Pat Bell.
Councillor Bell, who represents the Kendal Rural Ward on South Lakeland District Council, has used her £1,000 locality budget to support schools in her area. The three projects are:
• £250 to help Old Hutton CofE Primary School replace flood-damaged books;
• £250 towards new computer tablets at Seldside CofE Primary School;
• £500 in towards match-funding to help with fundraising for a new classroom at Grayrigg CofE Primary School.
Councillor Pat Bell said: “Local schools are the lifeblood of our local community and I’m delighted to be able to support these three fantastic projects.”
