Pat Bell would like to congratulate The Cumbria Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs on being awarded the King's Award for Voluntary Service 2023. The award is the equivalent of an MBE and is the highest award a voluntary club can be awarded by the monarch. Ms Bell who is involved with the Young Farmers and is chair of Westmorland Conservatives said: "It is wonderful news that Cumbria YFC have been awarded such a prestigious award, and is a testament to the volunteer's hard work and commitment.
" The volunteers really deserve this recognition and have always been willing to help members of our rural communities.
" Supporting organisations such as The Cumbria Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs is vital in providing a positive future for our rural communities."
