The Grange and Cartmel Wellbeing Group undertook a survey back in August 2018 to identify future priorities of work to make the area a happier and healthier community. Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the survey, as your feedback was greatly appreciated. The top priorities from the survey were – mental health needs, housing, physical activity and eating well, isolation and loneliness, and community wellbeing days - to provide information on current support services available.
The wellbeing group is currently looking into these priorities and will provide an overview of ongoing work shortly. In the meantime if you would like to find out more about the Wellbeing Group then join us at our next meeting on Tuesday 27th November, 6.30pm – 8.pm in Grange Library. Free refreshments provided.
For any further information on this meeting or group please contact Carol Last our County Council Local Community Development Officer on 01539 713180 or e-mail her at [email protected]
As winter approaches would you please check any grit bin on the road side near to where you live and if it needs refilling please report it into Cumbria Highways by ringing the Hotline on 0300 303 2992 or online via our web site at www.cumbria.gov.uk. This proves to be an invaluable source of information for our highways teams.
Kindest regards
