A fundraising campaign to repair the historic clock on Staveley-in-Cartmel’s Grade II listed parish church is £1,000 better off thanks to South Lakes District Councillor Michael Cornah.
Councillor Cornah, who represents the Cartmel Ward on South Lakeland District Council, has used his £1,000 locality budget to support the restoration project in his area.
Councillor Michael Cornah said: “The church and its clock are synonymous with our area and I’m delighted to be able to support this important project.”
