A South Lakes school has received £1,000 towards new IT equipment thanks to South Lakes Councillor John Holmes.
Councillor Holmes, who represents the Bowness and Levens Ward on South Lakeland District Council, has used his £1,000 locality budget to help Crosthwaite CofE Primary School purchase new equipment.
The funding will help towards the cost of new computer tablets, laptops and interactive whiteboards.
Councillor John Holmes said: “Village schools are at the heart of our local communities and I am delighted to use my locality budget to help Crosthwaite School keep pace with the latest classroom technology.”
